How does Grace bill my residential service?

You will be billed quarterly IN ADVANCE for your services. Bills are due 10 days after receipt. If a bill is 30 days past due, a finance change is assessed. If a bill is not paid within 45 days, service is placed on stop until payment is received.

What if I have large items or appliances for pick up?

Large, bulky items or appliances can be picked up on a scheduled basis for an additional charge. Bulk pick up must be scheduled by calling the office.

What if I want to have yard waste pick up?

We have a few options. We offer two yard waste programs. With our year-round program, your yard waste will be picked up weekly except for the months of December, January and February. During those three months you must call the office to schedule a pick up. Our 9-month program includes weekly yard waste pick up from March through November only. You can get on a program, but you can also pay as you use it at $3.00 per paper lawn bag (you must call it in).

Have more recyclable materials than will fit in your cart? Call Grace Hauling to schedule a bulk recycling pick up (extra charges may apply). We want to help customers recycle and keep recyclables out of the landfill. Thank you!

What is Grace’s holiday schedule?

Trash service will be interrupted on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. When we experience one of these holidays and it falls ON or BEFORE your regular pick up day, your trash, recycling and yard waste will be picked up one day later that week.

What is a “hopper” charge?

When you have more than your allotted amount of trash (2 carts or 1 cart plus 2 cans or 4 cans) and we must run the blade to clear the hopper so we can handle the extra trash, a $20.00 – $50.00 per “hopper” charge will be assessed depending on your area (The hopper of the truck holds approximately 2.5 yards of material)

What time will you pick up my trash?

Pick up times may change unexpectedly so we advise you to place all containers out at the curb the night before your pickup or by 5am that day to avoid missing our trucks. If your trash is not out when the truck arrives at your stop, you may request a special pickup. A $25.00 – $50.00 charge will apply depending on your area.

Do I have to rent your 95-gallon carts?

No, you are welcome to use your own cans. You are allowed up to four cans of trash per week. A 95-gallon cart if supplied for your recycling. Yard waste is limited to 4 cans or 10 bags and/or bundles per week. Please note we do not dump barrels of any kind or pick up trash laid in piles at your location. All trash must be contained. We are not responsible for repairs or replacement of your own personal cans.

Will there be rate increases? Will you notify me if there is going to be a rate increase?

While providing you service, Grace Hauling may increase your rates. Rate increases are necessary periodically to keep up with increasing operation costs. Grace Hauling reserves the right to determine the amount and frequency of rate increases.

If you have a signed Service Agreement with Grace Hauling, all information regarding rates and fees are provided in your Service Agreement. Please contact your HOA or municipality if you would like to know the terms of the Service Agreement.

If you do not have a signed Service Agreement with Grace Hauling, your service(s) are provided according to the terms on your current invoice. Grace Hauling reserves the right to change your rates and fees at its discretion with advanced notice. This notice will be in the form of any changes on your invoice. If you disagree with the change, you must notify Grace Hauling concerning this issue. Payment of an invoice after a rate change signifies an agreement to these changes.
